Rome wasn’t built in a day—and neither was Previous Magazine. Many hundreds of hours of iterative prototyping, research, and love are behind what you see today. You might like to learn how we came to have such a great platform to publish our news, reviews and interviews on, read on to find out how it came about.
Our Website
Previous Magazine was lovingly built by Hammy Havoc of Split An Atom, who is also our CEO, and founder. We’re constantly analyzing user feedback to offer a better reading experience on the Previous Magazine website that’s got the convenience of apps, yet the speed of the web. If you would like to involve Split An Atom on a project of your own, then take a look at their web design and development services.
Our Apps
The Previous Magazine apps are also another great piece of work from Hammy Havoc of Split An Atom. Consumers don’t like to manage bookmarks in a browser these days, they would rather have your website available as an app so they can be instantly notified when you have new content for them. If you are interested in apps of your own for iOS, Android, and Windows 10 UWP, you should head on over to their app design and development services page to get a better idea of what Split An Atom can do for you and your business.
Our Web Hosting
We had been a partner and proud user of Media Temple since 2012, and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. Their support has been nothing short of incredible since day one, and it remains excellent even under the rebranding of GoDaddy. GoDaddy’s hosting is fast, economically sensible, and their support is there for you 365 days of the year.
Our CDN
It isn’t easy serving our content to almost half a million people every month, that’s why we’re partnered with Media Temple. Thanks to their CDN, we’re able to serve our multimedia content from servers near our users, wherever they are in the world, as well as take some significant strain off of our servers, meaning we can scale to support massive influxes of traffic from the likes of Reddit and social media when influencers share our articles.
Our Writers
We wouldn’t be where we are today if it weren’t for our brilliant team of writers, both past, and present. Their hard work and passion for creating fun, informative, and interesting content has always been at the heart and soul of Previous Magazine since our inception as a digital publication.
We also are also grateful to Mary Ann Mahoney for her proofreading and editing service at Split An Atom.
Our Readers
Last but by no means least, our readers give us so much enjoyment and satisfaction with the feedback they provide to us. It’s great to know we’re able to make the day of so many people when they read our articles. We love you.
