A Player’s Guide to Online Bingo

in Video Games

The beauty of Bingo is that it’s for everyone. Originating in the 16th century, this popular game has found a new home in the online world, for players from all over the globe.

Those new to online gambling might think video slots, poker, and sports betting are the only options available to them, but that’s not the case. Online games like Bingo, Keno, and Plinko are available online, thereby ensuring accessibility.

Learning to play online Bingo is pretty simple. Most of the same rules apply, but we’ll touch more on that a bit later.

How to Play Bingo Online

We’re deep enough into the 21st century for you to know the vastness of the internet. So it won’t come as a surprise that there are many Bingo options available to players. If you’ve never played Bingo before (even in a community center or school hall), you should have no problem finding a guide to walk you through it.

With that being said, every online Bingo game is different. Once you’ve found a site that suits your needs, ensure that you have looked over the rules before you make real money bets. Some platforms will even allow you to try the game out for free first.

Ensure the site that you’ve found is trustworthy, accepts bets from players in your region, and suits your needs. You just need to find the right game for you.

The Rules

Bingo is a game of chance. It’s pretty simple, but the rules will vary according to which platform you play on. The general idea of the game is to match five squares in a row, on a board made up of 25 squares. If you do that, you’ve won the game!

In IRL Bingo, one player will act as the caller. This means that they read out the letters and numbers which determine which squares get covered. In online Bingo, the computer will generally take on this role. However, there are some live Bingo games that you can find online. Live Bingo games are streamed, and there will be a live dealer who calls out the plays.

If the caller reads out the number-letter combination that matches a square on your board, you can cover the square. This means that you’re one step closer to that elusive five-square-row. While Bingo is predominantly a game of chance, there is still some skill involved. For example, you’ll need to be pretty quick at determining if any of your squares match the combo called out.
